What evidence is needed for tensile and compressive asymmetry in WPC?
A WPC material should not automatically be assigned identical behaviour in tension and compression.
Use a laboratory plan that defines specimen preparation, alignment and strain measurement. Report the relevant response curves and failure observations rather than only a peak value. Keep conditioning and loading rate consistent when comparing directions or materials.
